Rachel
Founder/Director
Rachel started teaching dance for people with disabilities when she felt the need for more inclusive classes in her own training. Living with a hidden disability meant that she struggled to keep up in traditional dance classes. She wanted a way to teach dance that felt positive and revitalized the joy in moving. In creating Freestyle Expressive Movement, Rachel hopes to make dance more inviting to anyone who wants to dance and move no matter age or ability.
Rachel is a certified Social, Emotional Arts Facilitator, Trauma-Informed HeartMath Facilitator, and Expressive Movement Educator (in progress).
